Enrich your community and join the Franklin Cultural Council (FCC).
The FCC grants funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to support such non-profit organizations and programs as The 4th of July Celebration, Concerts on the Common, Franklin Public Library, Franklin Public Schools and so much more.
Are you a Franklin resident who would like to share your interests in arts and culture? Contact any member of the FCC listed above and learn about this committee. Unless otherwise indicated, meetings take place every 4th Tuesday of the month from September through June. Time commitment is limited to a few hours a month, rewards are limitless.

FRANKLIN —
Got culture? Apply for a grant in Franklin
The Cultural Council is seeking applications for the 2011 grant year.
The council ispart of a network of 329 local cultural councils serving 351 cities andtowns in the state.
Each year, the council grants funding forcommunity-based projects in the arts, sciences and humanities.
Applications can be found at www.mass-culture.orgor at the Town Clerk’s office at 355 East Central St.
They must becompleted and sent to Franklin Cultural Council, PMB 284, 279 EastCentral St., Franklin, MA 02038. Applications are due by Oct. 15.
The council meets monthly on the 2nd Monday from September to June, and is seeking new members.
FCC Grant Update
Thank you to all those artists, musicians, theater groups and arts organizations who applied for opportunities to enrich the Franklin Community through the arts. Applications which have met Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) state guidelines and arrived on or before October 15, 2011 for the 2011/2012 Cycle have been reviewed by the Franklin Cultural Council.
Below see a listing of this year's FCC grant recipients.
Franklin Cultural Council Meetings are held promptly at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building on the 4th Tuesday of the month from September through June.
