Children of any age may obtain a library card. A parent's signature is required on the application for any child who has not yet completed sixth grade. Proof of address is also required, and the parent's ID is usually used for this purpose.
Please remember that children may visit all areas of the Library and freely use materials uncensored. Librarians depend upon parents to guide children's choices.
