Summer Baseball
The Recreation Department has started accepting online registration for two Summer Baseball Leagues. One for boys aged 10-12 years old with some 9 year olds if parents understand they are will the youngest. The other league is for boys aged 13-15 years old. 12 Year olds have the option of playing up with the 13-15's or down with teh 9-12's. The leagues will feature 2 games per week during Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays, 5:30-8:00 pm. Online registration will run until July 5th and at that time we will begin making teams, scheduling games and calling players. Please make note when registering if you will be missing games due to vacations, football practices, camps, etc. so that we can plan accordingly. The program will feature 12 games, uniforms, umpires and minimal instruction. Also make note if you are
interested in volunteering to coach/assist/umpire, etc. Please do not sign up if you are on an all-star team as your schedule will conflict. We will refund in the event a player makes all stars.

Franklin offers many different opportunities for baseball players of all age groups. Franklin Recreation Department runs the Pee Wee Baseball program for kids aged 4-6 years old. Franklin Youth Baseball takes players from 7 years old up to 14 or 15 year olds. Franklin Recreation also organizes the Franklin Legion program as well. Legion Baseball is for players under 19 years old.
