Drafts are occuring over the next week or two. All kids should be notified by November 13th.
ROSTERS PICKED:
Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Boys/Girls 11/7/09,
'3rd & 4th Boys 11/9/09, 6:30 p.m. King Street Fire Station
3rd & 4th Girls 11/1/09, 6:30 p.m. Recreation Department
5th & 6th boys 11/1/09 5th & 6th girls UNKNOWN
7th & 8th grade boys 11/1/09....... 7th & 8th grade girls draft 10/24/09,
Skill sessions were held on October 17 & 18. We are now in the process of getting the draft sheets ready for each league. If your child missed skill sessions, don't worry about it, he/she will still be drafted to a team. Kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grade teams will be formed by November 20th. Practices will begin on December 5th for these divisions. Grades 3-8 grade divisions will vary on when they start. Some leagues will begin on November 14th and others won't begin until November 21st.
Basketball Officiating
Any kids interested in officiating recreation basketball should call the Recreation Department (520-4909) and get on our referee list. We will hold a referee clinic on December 3rd, 6:30 p.m. at the Recreation Department.
Youth Application is required for all kids just starting out for the first time. Usually 14 or 15 year olds.youth_application.pdf
