Was renovated in 2004 for age appropriate 2-5 and 5-12 year olds. The new playground features two separate areas designed to meet the challenges of two separate age groups. A large Play venture structure with on-ground components (log roll, curled monkey bars, multiple slides, rock climbing wall, and a rope climb). The safety surfacing is engineered wood fiber which is 12-18 inches deep. New swing seats have been added for a safer swing set area and some of the outdated dangerous items have been removed. on December 14, 11:00 am. Special recognition was given to the Department of Public Works for completing the demolition and installation of both Faenza Park and Fletcher Field Playgrounds, saving the town over $20,000.
